Compact Disc Europe hosts a database featuring more than 800,000 import music media including compact discs, cassettes, vinyl albums, videotapes, laser discs, music books, and magazines.

Proctor-Willenbacher built this custom database allowing both WWW and e-mail searches. In addition to the search engine, the database hosts and sends out mailing lists with weekly New Release Updates as well as customized e-mail search subscriptions. While these "front-end" tasks serve the customer, CD Europe has access to all functions and data via a "back-end" Web interface, making it a fully dynamic site.

Because this site has been such a success, we are currently restructuring and redesigning the look and feel, plus designing new options for the database.
